What We Do Most Often

• Broken or faulty screen

  Laptop screen replacement, flickering screen, dead pixels, failed backlight. Compatible or original parts depending on budget and availability.

• Battery that won't hold charge

  If your laptop only lasts thirty minutes or won't charge, it's often the battery. Replacement with a new battery of equal or better quality than the original.

• Hard drive / SSD

  Drive failing, system that won't boot, machine that's become very slow. Diagnosis, data recovery where possible, replacement with a modern SSD for a very significant performance gain.

• Slow computer

  Boot times of several minutes, applications freezing, fan screaming: often a combination of a failing drive, insufficient RAM, a system that needs cleaning. Precise diagnosis and the right fix.

• Viruses, malware, ransomware

  Removal of viruses and unwanted programs, restoration of a clean system, advice to avoid it happening again. If your data has been encrypted by ransomware, we'll look at what's recoverable — without false promises.

• Data recovery

  Hard drive that won't spin up, file deleted by mistake, failing SSD. Data recovery is rarely guaranteed at 100%, but we have good experience of common scenarios.
